Monday Litigation Series: The Litigation Lifecycle

  • Starts: 12:45 pm on Monday, February 3, 2020
  • Ends: 2:00 pm on Monday, February 3, 2020
All students are invited to join us for the first part of our new 3 part Monday Litigation Series. Curious about litigation? Feel like you’re headed in that direction but want to know more about various practice areas? This program is designed to describe what the practice of litigation looks like from a variety of different perspectives and explain clearly what a litigator does. What is discovery and what does discovery look like for clients involved in an employment discrimination case? How does a litigator handle settlement negotiations on the eve of trial? What types of practices will actually get you in a courtroom handling trial work? What does “motion practice” mean? How can you learn more about litigation and develop skills useful for practice and attractive to employers? Find panelist information and RSVP via the Events tab in Symplicity.
