Aaron A. Gilman (’80) Joins Nutter as Partner
Boston, MA – Nutter announced today the arrival of Aaron A. Gilman, who joins the firm as a partner in its Corporate and Transactions Department. Public and private companies rely on Gilman’s legal counsel in a broad spectrum of corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, complex contractual relationships, and corporate governance issues. As an M&A lawyer, he routinely handles both buy-side and sell-side engagements.

Gilman’s arrival further strengthens Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department, which in the past year has welcomed ten new attorneys, including Partners Michael E. Kushnir, Shannon S. Zollo, and Jonathan M. Calla, who have significantly expanded the firm’s capabilities in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financing, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Nutter, Gilman was a partner for nine years in the Boston office of a prominent New England-based law firm. He has also served as the executive vice president and general counsel of a publicly held company with a national presence.
Gilman is a member of the American and Massachusetts Bar Associations. He serves as a director of the Boch Center, a nonprofit performing arts organization in Boston. Gilman earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
