Her research program is focused on real time detection of brain activity across scales. Devor and her collaborators assemble a suite of microscopic technologies that, collectively, allow precise and quantitative probing of a large number of concrete brain activity parameters. Then, they combine multimodal measurements and system-level analysis\/modeling to understand how microscopic activity patterns translate into noninvasive macroscopic observables. The overarching goal is to develop a single estimation framework for inference of neuronal network activity from human imaging data. Devor is a sought-after teacher and participant of summer schools in neuroimaging around the world.
