Hai! My name is Immaculate Njoroge.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m\u00a0from Kenya and incredibly grateful to be attending Boston University as a\u00a0<\/span>QuestBridge Scholar<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0a first-year student in CAS studying Biology<\/a> on the\u00a0<\/span>pre-med<\/span><\/a>\u00a0track. I find science endlessly fascinating, and\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0excited to see where my curiosity and passions within the field will lead me.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a member of the\u00a0<\/span>Kilachand Honors College<\/span><\/a>\u00a0has been one of the most meaningful and formative parts of my college experience. KHC quickly became a second home, one that eased my\u00a0initial\u00a0homesickness and allowed me to build deep friendships with both peers and professors.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0a space where I feel supported, challenged, and truly myself.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Around campus,\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0loved exploring different communities and getting involved in a variety of organizations, including the\u00a0<\/span>Outing Club<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Knitting Club<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Sisters United<\/span><\/a>, and the\u00a0<\/span>Marsh Chapel Choir<\/span><\/a>. BU offers so many opportunities, each uniquely shaped by the people who join them, and I love letting my curiosity\u00a0lead\u00a0me to new adventures.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0not studying at my favorite spot on the 9th floor of KHC,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0probably find\u00a0me walking along the Charles at the Esplanade, going for a run on a good day, or having\u00a0game\u00a0night with friends. I also enjoy grabbing burritos at El Jefe\u2019s (best burritos ever), and\u00a0singing in the music room while\u00a0FaceTiming\u00a0my brother; FaceTime karaoke Fridays are sacred.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s\u00a0so much more\u00a0I\u2019d\u00a0love to share, but\u00a0I\u2019ll\u00a0leave some things for us to talk about. Feel free to email me anytime about anything, even just to say\u00a0hai\u00a0:)<\/span>
