My name is Emma Clement (she\/they) and I am\u00a0majoring in\u00a0<a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/com\/programs\/journalism\/bs\/\" data-linkindex=\"0\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/com\/programs\/journalism\/bs\/\">Journalism<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0<a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/com\/\" data-linkindex=\"1\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/com\/\">COM<\/a>\u00a0with a minor in\u00a0<a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/cfa\/programs\/school-of-visual-arts\/minor-in-visual-arts\/\" data-linkindex=\"2\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/cfa\/programs\/school-of-visual-arts\/minor-in-visual-arts\/\">visual arts<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0<a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/\" data-linkindex=\"3\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/\">CFA<\/a>. I am in the Class of 2028. I am from a suburb of Kansas City, Kansas called Shawnee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>On campus, I am highly involved with the BU independent student newspaper The<\/span><a data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyfreepress.com\/\" data-linkindex=\"4\" title=\"https:\/\/dailyfreepress.com\/\"><span>\u00a0Daily Free Press<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0as campus news co-editor, and I have also been a graphics editor and layout editor in previous semesters. I am also currently a KHC peer mentor.<\/span><span>\u00a0In my free time I love drawing and painting both digitally and traditionally, listening to audiobooks (romance (queer obviously) and fantasy), listening to music (anything except country really), watching then rewatching my favorite animated children\u2019s shows, and spending time with my friends!<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>I love the Kilachand community so much and truly feel like it has been such an integral part of adjusting to life at BU. The classes I have taken through KHC have all been great and every professor\/advisor\/faculty member I\u2019ve met has been wonderful. BU, and Kilachand more specifically, was my dream in high school and I am so lucky to be here now. I\u2019m happy to talk to anyone about my experiences with BU, KHC, being far from home, or anything at all really!
