Hi there! My name is Julia Tran (she\/her) and I\u2019m majoring in <\/span>Business Administration and Management<\/span><\/a> in the Questrom School of Business with concentrations in Information Systems and Strategy<\/a>. I\u2019m also minoring in <\/span>Data Science<\/span><\/a> in the Faculty of Computing and Data Sciences. I\u2019m from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and I\u2019m a first-gen international student!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On campus, I\u2019m a member of the <\/span>Questrom Student Government<\/span><\/a>, the <\/span>Questrom Ascend Fellowship<\/span><\/a> for under-represented student groups in Questrom, and <\/span>Boston University Consulting Group<\/span><\/a>. I also work here as an Admissions Ambassador, or a tour guide, for BU! Outside of school, I\u2019m one of the Student-Lead’s for this year\u2019s <\/span>First Gen Summit<\/span><\/a>, a national conference for first-gen students in the US. I love exploring the city of Boston, meeting up with friends and mentors, and also go on walks around the campus!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

KHC is where I was able to build my first community, my first network of peers and professors here at BU, which really helped me a lot to acclimate to moving to an entirely new country. I\u2019ve also found KHC\u2019s interdisciplinary courses to be really helpful as they relate to all of the other classes I\u2019ve taken. A lot of the skills and knowledge transfer over as well!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I have taken or currently taking all of the introductory classes for Business and Data Science. Feel free to ask me any questions on the coursework(s) of my Major and Minor, anything from my experiences that you\u2019re interested in, and basically anything :) I\u2019m here to help!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
