Event Description: <\/strong>A \u201cHackathon\u201d where students form interdisciplinary teams, create their own problem under a theme related to social justice, and propose a solution to that problem via a presentation in any format. <\/span>Teams will be judged by an interdisciplinary board of KHC faculty\/staff and winners will get prizes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Food will be provided throughout the day.
This event is hosted by KLAB (Kilachand Leadership Advisory Board).<\/em><\/p>\n

Attendance<\/strong>:\u00a0(For Kilachand Honors College Students)<\/em>\u00a0At the end of the event, a QR will be posted for you to check-in. This QR will expire so please complete the check-in form immediately. You must check-in to earn co-curricular attendance credit for this event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Schedule:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Morning Session (10-11 am)<\/strong> – Students form teams (or come as a team) and are introduced to the event, rules, rubric, and judges. They learn what prizes are at stake and what it takes to be successful.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Downtime (11 am-3 pm)<\/strong> – Teams have time in the Common Room, or outside of it, to brainstorm and make a presentation with their teams.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Presentations (3-5 pm) <\/strong>– Teams present in front of a panel of judges and winners are determined.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
