Storage, conservation, and display are also ways of tending to art. This exhibition invites visitors to explore how contemporary artists trace and address concepts of care through their materials, subjects, ideas, and processes.<\/p>\n<p>This Fall we invite our students to join us for two Co-Curricular events around the MFA&#8217;s exhibit <em>Tender Loving Care<\/em>. We will be taking group tours of this exhibit, followed by a Panel Discussion event with some contributors to the collection. Wornick Curator of Contemporary Decorative Arts<\/strong> at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Previously, she worked at MoMA, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Guggenheim Museum. Her work focuses on the intersections of people, power, and the material world. At the MFA, she is working on \u201cCraft Schools: Where We Make What We Inherit\u201d which took her on a train journey across all 48 contiguous US states. She leads an independent team on a book, touring exhibition, and program series called \u201cDesigning Motherhood: Things That Make and Break Our Births.\u201d She holds an MA and an M.Phil in Art History from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and received an M.Phil from The Graduate Center at the City University of New York (CUNY) where she is completing her PhD. She is currently the <strong>Cunningham Associate Conservator of Paintings <\/strong>in the Eijk and Rose-Marie Van Otterloo Paintings Studio at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MFA). She received her M.S. in conservation of historic and artistic works and M.A. in art history and archaeology from the Conservation Center at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In her current role at the MFA, she is lead paintings conservator for modern and contemporary art projects. She designs three dimensional spaces of varying scales with a strong focus on visitor experience and interaction. She holds a Master of Design in Exhibition and Narrative Environments from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Design in Public Space Design from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, India.
