Her first novel, <em>Housekeeping<\/em>, won the Hemingway Foundation\/PEN Award. In 2021, all four <em>Gilead<\/em> novels were selected for Oprah\u2019s Book Club. Robinson&#8217;s nonfiction books include <em>What Are We Doing Here?<\/em>, <em>The Givenness of Things<\/em>, <em>When I Was a Child I Read Books<\/em>, <em>Absence of Mind<\/em>, <em>The Death of Adam<\/em>, and <em>Mother Country<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Browse the drop down boxes below to learn more about each event.
