Join James Johnson for an exploration of Ravel\u2019s music in the artistic and cultural context of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fin_de_si%C3%A8cle\">late 19<sup>th<\/sup>-century France<\/a>. Professor Johnson will play and discuss works from <em>Miroirs<\/em>, Ravel\u2019s 1905 set of piano pieces intended to capture the sound and feel of birds, night moths, a valley of bells, and a boat on the ocean.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Attendance<\/strong><span>: <em>(For Kilachand Honors College Students)<\/em> You can register for this event in advance on Handshake\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bu.joinhandshake.com\/events\/1263284\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.
