Support your classmates and learn about the ways in which you can explore your interests through the Keystone process.<\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ white-space-prewrap\"> <\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">Following the presentations, we will enjoy our final Kilachand Tea of the semester and there will be an opportunity for Q&amp;A with Kilachand seniors and staff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Attendance<\/strong><span>: At the event, a QR will be posted for you to check-in. This QR will expire so please complete the check-in form immediately. You must check-in to earn co-curricular attendance credit for this event. <\/span><span>The co-curricular portion of this event will include just the student presentations, which should end around 5pm. Attendance is not required during the Tea and Q&amp;A portion of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Student Presentations<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Janki Bhatt<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Comparative Analysis of Literature Published about the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. <br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>I am conducting a comparative analysis by researching literary, journalistic and government sources available regarding the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War and interviewing authors and individuals from the South Asian region, where I will examine the mechanisms of gaps in knowledge about 1971 that were created during the violent conflict and which persist today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lydia Bischoff<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Does Delayed Muscle Development Correlate to Eating Difficulties in a Rare Neurodevelopmental Disorder?<\/em><b><span><br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/span><\/b>This project will investigate muscle development in tadpoles to understand how differences in muscle growth may lead to challenges with eating in Okur-Chung Neurodevelopmental Syndrome (OCNDS) patients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Max Brown<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Investigating the target protein &#8211; DNA2 &#8211; in the Cytosolic Iron Sulfur Cluster Assembly (CIA) Pathway<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>I am investigating the CIA pathway, which is the pathway in all cells that facilitates the creation, movement, and ultimate placement of iron sulfur clusters. This pathway, along with the DNA2 protein are essential for DNA replication and metabolism meaning this research can be applied to medicine in a variety of ways.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicole Chiulli<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Production of central tendency effects in interval timing tasks<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>Using computational modeling methods and an online behavioral task, this project aims to investigate the underlying mechanisms of time perception and estimation in the brain, with possible implications for neuropsychological disorders like ADHD, ASD, and more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leah Dobres<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>College Football Fan Ethnography <br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>An ethnographic study of fan culture surrounding college football and how this culture shapes regional identity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carter Fahey <br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Per Oculi Antiquitatum: Reframing Modern Politics Through Ancient Art<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>A collection of objects exploring modern events through the lens of ancient art, allowing viewers to interact with divisive events without the confrontational context of modern politics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gabrielle Glass<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Highlighting Indigenous Strength Among Assumptions of Disparity: The Success of COVID-19 Vaccination in Navajo Nation<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>This project focuses on understanding the factors, and reflecting on our own preconceived notions, surrounding the outstanding rates of COVID-19 vaccination among the Navajo tribe, especially within the context of Indigenous healthcare access, historical trauma and resilience, local leadership, and past vaccination trends in response to disease outbreaks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eleanor Horvath<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>What Happens in the Arctic Doesn&#8217;t Stay in the Arctic<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>This project uses satellite-based remote sensing and geospatial analysis to explore climate change-induced disturbances in Arctic and boreal regions, with the support of the Center for Remote Sensing and the U.S. Forest Service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ellie Olsen<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Diversifying Sexual Assault Treatment for a Diverse World<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>This Keystone is an analysis of training materials from Boston area sexual assault treatment centers with the goal of evaluating their capacity to care for transgender survivors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jenna Riedl <br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Selective Restriction: Analyzing Conservative Ideologies about Government Regulation of Queer Expression<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>I am interviewing young adult conservatives about their views on how the government should regulate queer people in order to identify any major similarities or differences in their beliefs.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Amanda Satterfield<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em>Selective Ensembles: Product or People<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/em>This project investigates underlying participation barriers in music education for ELL (English Language Learner) students through student and teacher surveys and interviews of a Boston metro-area public school district.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madison Sofield<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><em><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The Alternative Dance Experience: Creating Accessibility &amp; Customizability<\/span><strong><br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/strong><\/em>I am working on a creative entrepreneurship project in which I am addressing the need for progressive dance methodologies and cost barriers in the current ballet market through a matching\/certification\/new dance instruction platform.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Join the Event Online<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>We are happy to offer digital streaming of our event for those family, friends, and advisors that are unable to make the event in person.
