Each semester Kilachand faculty have the chance to nominate the most exciting work of their students, and at the end of each year Kilachand students have the opportunity to self-nominate their own work.<\/p>\n<p>We invite all of our students to submit\u00a0<strong><u>one<\/u><\/strong> piece you have worked on in a Kilachand course this school year (F&#8217;25, Sp&#8217;26) which you are particularly proud of and\/or excited about. We welcome essays, projects, proposals, group work, long and short works, creative and digital pieces, podcasts, and other genres. If your work is chosen for publication, it will be submitted for editorial review, and you will have an opportunity to revise based on comments from our editors as well as any faculty feedback provided during the semester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline to submit work for the Summer 2026 volume of\u00a0<em>Kaleidoscope<\/em> is Sunday, May 17\u00a0at 11:59 pm EST.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Submit your work<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p><p>Nominations for the Kaleidoscope Journal have closed. Please email mjwest@bu.edu with questions.<\/p><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h5 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Linking publication with alternate forms of grading\/ungrading<\/h5><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>Our new journal is linked to the experiments that many Kilachand faculty and teaching teams are conducting with alternate forms of grading\/ungrading, including dialogic grading, contract grading, and effort-based grading.
