Hi! My name is Nicole and I’m originally from Cortlandt Manor, New York. I am a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Computer Science. I’m involved with a number of groups on campus – I’m the treasurer for SVSN (Student Volunteers for Special Needs), a member of the Mind and Brain Society, a Kilachand Honors College Peer Mentor, and a College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Host. I also do a lot of undergraduate research (ask me about UROP!), studying the neural processes behind decision making with the Laboratory of Comparative Cognition at BU. Outside of school stuff, some of my favorite pastimes include drawing, drinking too much coffee, and accosting my roommates with really cool neuroscience facts!
KHC is one of the best parts of my life at BU. It’s allowed me to take fascinating courses in things like philosophy and poetry even with such a heavy STEM work load, and it’s also given me many close friendships and a wonderful community. I’ve loved my experiences in both KHC and Boston University as a whole and would love to chat about them any time, so feel free to reach out with any questions or just to say hello!
