CAS’23 Biology, Pre-Med
Hi! My name is Emma Kraus and I am a senior majoring in Biology with a specialization in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics and minoring in visual arts. I am on the pre-med track with a strong interest in public health. I am from Bucks County PA and am in love with Boston and all the places to explore in the city!
I am a member of Alpha Phi Omega (co-ed service fraternity), Vice President of BU’s Red Cross Volunteers, Vice President of BU’s chapter of the Global Medical Brigades, and volunteer with the CSC’s Student Studio where we bring art to the public schools of Boston! I was also a member of the Liu Lab Group on campus during this past summer where I did biochemistry wet lab work involving sulfur-containing enzymes and a current scribe for a surgical oncologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. I love Kilachand’s interdisciplinary focus and I am also a peer mentor! I am always excited to talk about my experience as a pre-med student, my passion for art, and any advice for fun things to do in Boston! Contact me with any questions and stay safe!
