Boston University\u2019s Kuali Coeus<\/strong> Research Management<\/strong> (KCRM)<\/strong> project is a phased approach\u00a0to implement Kuali Coeus, an open-source application designed to support research administration and related processes.<\/p>\n

IRB Module
\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Status: <\/strong>Delivered 2\/10\/2016<\/p>\n

Description: <\/strong>The Charles River Campus Institutional Review Board (IRB) office is using the IRB module of Kuali Coeus to track protocol submissions. This module is currently being used for ‘back office’ functions only at this time.<\/p>\n

Negotiations Module

Status: <\/strong>Delivered 6\/15\/2015<\/p>\n

Description: <\/strong>Sponsored programs is using the Negotiations module of Kuali Coeus to track industry contract work.<\/p>\n

Kuali Coeus Upgrade to v5.2.1 (with Kuali Rice v.2.3.6)
\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Status: <\/strong>Delivered 11\/2\/2014<\/p>\n

Description: <\/strong>We have upgraded our version of Kuali Coeus from 5.2 to version 5.2.1. This upgrade also included the configuration of the Subaward module for use at Boston University.<\/p>\n

Kuali Coeus Upgrade to v5.2 (with Kuali Rice v.2.3.3)
\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Status: <\/strong>Delivered 8\/18\/2014<\/p>\n

Description: <\/strong>We have upgraded our version of Kuali Coeus from 3.0.1 to version 5.2. This upgrade provides a number of improvements in stability and performance, as well as other KC modules that will be evaluated for potential future use.<\/p>\n

Proposal and Award Report Remediation Project<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Status: <\/strong>Delivered 5\/1\/2013<\/p>\n

Description:<\/strong> We have implemented a number of report changes to help address challenges and concerns with the current reports within the Business Warehouse for proposal and award data. Efforts included modifications to existing reports as well as new reports to help better meet the business needs of the research community. Visit the Office of Sponsored Programs website for further details\u00a0on the scope<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n

Access the updated and new reports via the BUworks Portal<\/a> – Reporting Tab – Grants Management folder.<\/p>\n

Institutional Proposal and Awards Modules<\/em><\/strong>
\nStatus:<\/strong> Delivered 7\/1\/2011<\/p>\n

Description:<\/strong> KCRM Phase 1 implemented the KC Institutional Proposal and Awards modules, used by the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP)<\/a> and Post Award Financial Operations (PAFO)<\/a> to (1) capture key administrative data about submitted proposals, and (2) set-up and manage awards received. Phase 1 also delivered an interface to SAP and a set of BW reports related to the University\u2019s proposal and award activity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
