His teaching interests also include Jewish-American fiction and the literature of the Holocaust. Professor Prince\u2019s research focuses on Enlightenment philosophy and literature, as well as composition theory and pedagogy. Recent publications include\u00a0<\/span><em>Philosophical Dialogue in the British Enlightenment<\/em><span>\u00a0(Cambridge University Press, 1996; reprint, 2005), as well as essays on the third Earl of Shaftesbury, genre theory, and philosophical aesthetics.
