{"id":5606,"date":"2015-05-05T14:57:18","date_gmt":"2015-05-05T18:57:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/jewishstudies\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=5606"},"modified":"2022-06-06T19:15:50","modified_gmt":"2022-06-06T23:15:50","slug":"pnina-lahav","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/jewishstudies\/profile\/pnina-lahav\/","title":{"rendered":"Pnina Lahav"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Pnina Lahav teaches constitutional law, political and civil liberties, and comparative law. \u00a0In 2020, she will teach a comparative seminar on the U.S. and Israel\u2019s constitutional systems of government.\u00a0 Professor Lahav served as a fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford, California and at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.\u00a0 She was also a Religion Fellow at the Boston University School of Theology. Professor Lahav has published scores of articles on topics varying from freedom of expression to national security, the status of women and the controversy over the Women of the Wall.\u00a0 She is the author of the acclaimed biography\u00a0<\/span><em>Judgment in Jerusalem:\u00a0Chief Justice Simon Agranat and the Zionist Century <\/em><span>(University of California Press, 1997) and is presently completing a gendered biography of Golda Meir, Israel\u2019s fourth prime minister.
