Lost Promise: Music in Commemoration of the Children of the Shoah
- Starts: 6:30 pm on Monday, January 26, 2026
- Ends: 8:00 pm on Monday, January 26, 2026
For International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join Terezín Music Foundation director Mark Ludwig for an evening of live music that honors the memory of the 1.5 million Jewish children murdered in the Shoah. Lost Promise features works by composers who perished in the Holocaust—artists who created music inspired by their own children and by the young lives they encountered in Terezín, a concentration camp that held some of Europe’s greatest musicians. These works, born in the shadow of the Holocaust, are evidence of extraordinary creative resilience exhibited by these artists under unimaginable circumstances.
While there is a livestream option for this event, we welcome you to enjoy the in-person experience of hearing live music.
