Pre-registration for these workshops in not required, but space is limited.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"\/isso\/files\/2015\/10\/OPT-Workshop-Flyer-FA15.pdf\">F-1 Optional Practical Training: Application Basics<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This workshop is offered the first Friday of every month (excluding\u00a0January and September), and other dates. This session answers basis questions for students\u00a0planning to apply for OPT, including eligibility factors, timing,\u00a0considerations for travel and employment, and tips for preparing and mailing\u00a0 the OPT application.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Friday, \u00a0October 2<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday, October 9<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>Thursday,\u00a0October 22<\/b><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Friday,\u00a0November 6<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Friday, December 4<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\"><em>*All sessions 3:00-4:00 p.m.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"\/isso\/files\/2015\/10\/OPT-Workshop-Flyer-FA15.pdf\">F-1 Optional Practical Training: Transitions (STEM, Cap-Gap)<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This workshop is for students who have already submitted an OPT application and who may already be on a period of OPT.
