“Safe, Settled and Healthy”<\/h3>\n

to Begin Studies at Boston University<\/h3>\n

Please be reminded that every student must provide an emergency phone number, must settle their account, and must be in compliance with state immunization requirements each semester.\u00a0 Therefore, Boston University is asking all students, “Are you Safe, Settled and Healthy?” to be sure that everyone is in compliance with state and University rules.\u00a0 What does “Safe, Settled and Healthy” mean?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
Safe<\/strong><\/td>\nHave you entered\/confirmed your BU Alert Phone Number in the MyBU Student Portal<\/a>?<\/strong>
\nThis number will be used by the\u00a0BU Alert<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0system to contact you in emergency situations.\u00a0 You can provide the number by clicking on “Update\/Confirmation” of your BU Alert Phone Information in the Address and Phone tab of the MyBU Student Portal<\/a>.\u00a0 You are required to update or confirm the number each semester.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Settled<\/strong><\/td>\nHave you settled your Student Account?<\/strong>\u00a0(Have you paid your tuition and fees?) You can check your account information by clicking on the “Money Matters” tab in the\u00a0MyBU Student Portal<\/a>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Healthy<\/strong><\/td>\nHave you met the Massachusetts state immunization requirements?<\/strong>
\nYou must prove that you have received all vaccinations required by Massachusetts state law.\u00a0\u00a0Click here<\/a>\u00a0to review the requirements outlined on the Student Health Services web site.\u00a0Click here<\/a>\u00a0to access and complete the appropriate BU Health Form for your program of study.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Students who do not comply with these requirements will not be permitted to register for the following semester.<\/p>\n

A special page has been added to the the MyBU Student Portal<\/a> so you can check to see if you are in compliance with the Safe, Settled and Healthy requirements.\u00a0 Go to the MyBU Student Portal<\/a>, click on “Personal Tab,” then on “Compliance Status” as illustrated below.<\/p>\n
