SEVP Portal

For OPT and STEM OPT Reporting

The SEVP Portal allows F-1 students on post-completion OPT and STEM OPT view and update some personal and employer information in their SEVIS record. However, schools remain responsible for reporting this data to SEVIS.

Important

• You must continue reporting all required personal and employer information to ISSO through the ISSOPortal, regardless of whether you use the SEVP Portal.
• STEM OPT students have additional reporting obligations, including submitting Form I-983, six-month validations, and 12-month and final evaluations. You must use the ISSOPortal for all STEM OPT reporting. Responding to an SEVP email is not sufficient.
• After your OPT/STEM OPT is approved and active, you will receive an email from do-not-reply.SEVP@ice.dhs.gov inviting you to create your SEVP Portal account. Please make certain that you are only responding to emails and opening links from this trusted email address.
• If you become locked out of your SEVP portal, please email your ISSO advisor for a reset.
