She received an interdisciplinary bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of South Carolina in biology, psychology, public health, and environmental studies. She completed her Master\u2019s of Public Health in the Department of Environmental Health at Emory University\u2019s Rollins School of Public Health. Her research interests include environmental epidemiology, climate adaptation and mitigation planning, connections between the built environment and health, and environmental justice.
