Born and raised in New York City, Deep\u2019s interactions with his local and city level officials in the New York metropolitan area have been instrumental in developing his passion for law and policy-making. He aspires to attend law school upon the completion of undergraduate studies and his policy interests include voting rights, criminal justice reform, environment and sustainability, urban planning, and education reform. Deep currently serves as an undergraduate research assistant at BU\u2019s CERES Institute for Children and Youth and was also one of the inaugural students of University of Miami Law School\u2019s Undergraduate Summer Legal Academy. His work as a Political Affairs intern for the Borgen Project has also helped him cultivate his interest in equity-driven and intersectional legal work.
