{"id":19265,"date":"2024-10-29T12:43:15","date_gmt":"2024-10-29T17:43:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ioc\/?p=19265"},"modified":"2024-11-08T12:48:26","modified_gmt":"2024-11-08T17:48:26","slug":"spring-2025-metrobridge-call-for-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ioc\/2024\/10\/29\/spring-2025-metrobridge-call-for-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring 2025 MetroBridge Call for Proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ioc\/metrobridge\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MetroBridge<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the experiential learning program of the Boston University Initiative on Cities (IOC), is seeking municipal and community <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ioc\/metrobridge\/partner-with-metrobridge\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">project partners<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the spring 2025 semester.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>About MetroBridge<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MetroBridge embeds the research needs of cities, towns, NGOs, and community organizations into semester-long courses at BU, providing students with experiential learning opportunities through real-world projects that support communities.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program is university-wide, which means partners can benefit from academic expertise across Boston University on a wide range of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ioc\/metrobridge\/partner-with-metrobridge\/#topics\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">topics<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The MetroBridge team serves as a one-stop shop and point of contact for project partners, supporting the project from idea submission to completion. We assist with project scoping and development, handle the matching of courses for each project, assist with project management, and ensure effective communication between BU and project liaisons.
