Rachel is a student at the College of General Studies and will be pursuing a dual degree in sustainable business and psychology through the College of Arts & Sciences and Questrom School of Business. She plans to use these disciplines to explore the accessibility of sustainable lifestyles from both the corporate side and from within the human mind. Being homeschooled for the majority of her elementary and middle school, Rachel has developed a wide variety of interests.
Dance has been a big part of her life for the last 15 years, and she has performed with Boston Ballet School and the Boston Ballet Company at the Boston Opera House. At BU, she plans to explore other forms of dance including modern, contemporary, and hip-hop fusion.
She has a big heart for community service and served as her school’s National Honor Society Vice President of Community Service and her church’s Community Outreach Organizer.
On the side, Rachel is an avid video game player. Growing up, she started a gaming blog that grew to a fanbase of 60,000+ viewers. She enjoys photography, graphic design, and dreaming about an eco-friendly future.
Rachel was born in Austin, Texas, but has lived in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Tianjing, China, and currently lives in Lexington, Massachusetts.
