Ekta Karkala

Ekta is from Union City, California and is a liberal Arts/medical education major, a seven year program in the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Medicine. She was a flutist in the California Youth Symphony and also taught music and science at the Friends of Children with Special Needs. Previously, she interned at the Poston Lab of Neurology at Stanford University. After college, she plans to pursue a career as a doctor.
