Impact Film Competition Is Back!
New ideas come in all shapes in sizes: new businesses, nonprofits, community service, advocacy, arts and culture projects, and more. Despite their differences on the outside, every new idea has at least two things in common – they have their own story and seek to create impact.
Last semester, Innovate@BU launched its first Impact Film Competition when current students were asked to create 90-second films that told the story of a person, place, thing, or idea that creates impact. Now, we’re thrilled to make the Impact Film Competition a part of our spring 2019 signature programming!
Formal filmmaking experience is not required. As of February 1, students can register to participate in the spring 2019 competition. Final films are due Friday, April 12, 2019 and will be screened during Innovation Week on April 25, 2019.
