All Day Deadline: First Year Innovation Fellowship Application
Are you bursting with new ideas that you want to turn into something real? Maybe you're curious and want to better understand a social problem? Incoming Terriers are invited to apply to Innovate@BU’s First-Year Innovation Fellowship (FYIF) program to pursue their passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. A small cohort of accepted students will be provided with seed money, coaching, and resources to transform their ideas into impact.

Are you interested in engaging in something entrepreneurial and creating impact? Do you have an idea and have been wondering how to take it forward? Or, have you been working on an idea but have not had formal training on best practices? In this 2-day immersive bootcamp (10am-5pm on both days), you will learn the process and important techniques to help you identify meaningful innovation opportunities, start building your venture (for-profit or non-profit), and optimize the success of your venture. This is offered as a remote program.

This workshop is crafted for current and aspiring women entrepreneurs, to understand what imposter syndrome is, learn tools to tackle it, and come to a better understanding of yourself for your continued growth.

The Campus Hunger Challenge is a multi-stage competition brought to you by the BUild Lab and the YMCA of Greater Boston. We welcome innovative ideas from all fields of study and experience.

Come learn how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset so you could pursue any opportunity that you care about with greater success!

10:00 AM Campus Hunger Challenge Kick-Off
Innovate@BU has partnered with the YMCA of Greater Boston and other Boston-based leading organizations to host a challenge focused on addressing food insecurity for individuals aged 19-26. Come learn more about the spring challenge, network with peers, hear from community experts addressing food insecurity, and work on ideas!

5:00 PM Info session: Sustainability Innovation Seed Grant
Do you have a great idea to make campus more sustainable? Want to play a role in campus climate action? The Sustainability Innovation Seed Grant program is an opportunity for students to be part of a movement. With grant funding and resources offered by BU Sustainability and Innovate@BU, students are empowered to kick-start a project or develop an intervention that tackles the leading sustainability challenges facing Boston University.

5:00 PM Finding Co-Founders and Building Your Team + Speed Networking
In this interactive session, develop a strategy for finding co-founders and teammates who you can trust and who have the skills you need. At the end, there will be a speed networking session at the end, so come prepared to meet other entrepreneurs and innovators!

12:00 PM Summer Accelerator 2022 Info Session
Learn about Innovate@BU's Summer Accelerator program for early-stage BU ventures and its application process. The Summer Accelerator is a 10-week program that guides students and recent graduate entrepreneurs through the process of building an early-stage venture. Accepted teams receive a stipend of up to $10,000.
