After two pitch nights, 24 teams will move on step closer to the $18,000 grand prize.
Since fall 2019, the grant program has partially funded more than 40 student projects.
More than 700 teams have competed and over $171k has been awarded in cash prizes.
On March 4th and 9th, the public is invited to hear 41 BU-led start-ups present short pitches during the first round of the competition.
The Hewitt Pathfinder Start-up Internship Fund will provide three (3) $8,000 stipends to support U.S.-based summer internships offered to BU undergraduates.
Sarah Hillesheim (ENG’21) proposes installing high-contrast, tactile talking buttons at bus and above-ground T stops to better support blind and visually impaired persons.
Applications are now open for the 21st Annual New Venture Competition.
The selected artists) will work with Innovate@BU to create and carry out an engaging design for a twenty-foot long wall in the BUild Lab.
