Sophia Monkman

I joined Boston University in February 2021 to head corporate relations within BU’s recently formed Industry Engagement office. In this role I work closely with colleagues in Development and Alumni Relations, Career Services, and within Industry Engagement to facilitate corporate gifts and unrestricted funding to the University. I have over 18 years of experience in corporate relations, program management, marketing and consulting within academia and the financial services industry.

I graduated from Binghamton University with a B.A. in Mathematics and Philosophy and I earned an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from the Heller School at Brandeis.
