Marc Scatamacchia

I joined Boston University in August 2018 to lead the new Industry Engagement office, which was formed through the recommendation of the Task Force on University Collaboration with Industry to facilitate, streamline, and encourage faculty interaction with industry in all forms. As we build our Industry Engagement team I also lead our efforts across the data sciences fields and their associated centers and institutes. I have more than 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, and mergers and acquisitions in the defense, aerospace, and healthcare industries.

I am a BU alum with a B.S. degree in systems engineering. I also received an M.S. in operations research from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
