An Interactive Workshop on Leveraging Data for Clean Energy Transitions in Municipalities Across Massachusetts

The Healey-Driscoll Administration, UMass Lowell, and Boston University have launched the Clean Energy and Environment Legacy Transition (CELT) Initiative, a partnership to advance an equitable energy transition in Massachusetts, empower communities, and train the next generation of climate leaders.

The purpose of this session is to introduce municipalities to the CELT Energy Transition Explorer and its applications to obtain accessible data that municipalities can use for decision-making. The workshop will provide a concise overview of this data tool, followed by an interactive discussion to understand the unique needs of municipalities in terms of data.

The discussion aims to equip municipal leaders and project managers with key guidelines to obtain data and make data-driven decisions that support their decarbonization efforts, and the growth of sustainable energy initiatives in their communities.

The target audience for this event is municipal staff, clean energy project managers, data analysts, and decision-makers involved in the implementation and oversight of clean energy projects in Massachusetts.
