
Jesse Ross
Project Coordinator, IGS
Jesse Ross is a Project Coordinator with Boston University’s Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), helping to manage a National Science Foundation Research Traineeship called ENERGIZE. The primary goal of the traineeship is to prepare students to undertake convergent research to tackle the urgent societal problem of developing sustainable energy storage and conversion. Ross has a strong background in project management and is extremely passionate about sustainability and higher education.
Prior to joining Boston University, Ross worked at Schneider Electric where he supported cross-functional projects and managed organizational change. He has also spent time working for The Commonwealth of Massachusetts where he conducted research and strategic planning.
Ross earned his MBA from Northeastern University with concentrations in Sustainability and Leading People & Organizations. He also holds a BA in Sociology from Hofstra University in New York.
