Now Hiring: Clean Energy & Environment Legacy Transition (CELT) Student Fellows
Recruiting students for fellowship opportunities to support sustainability projects in Massachusetts.
Passionate about clean energy? The Clean Energy & Environment Legacy Transition (CELT) Initiative is hiring students for its second cohort of Municipal Fellows and Office of Energy Transformation (OET) Fellows. Applications are currently being accepted for both opportunities, which start in January 2026.
OET Fellow
The OET is part of the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, doing innovative work to support Massachusetts’ clean energy transition. Its mission is to accelerate the energy transformation, with a focus on the readiness and availability of the electric infrastructure, the gas-to-electric transition, and promoting an affordable and just transition for workers, businesses, and communities. The OET fellowship offers students a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of these processes, gaining hands-on experience through a 12-month placement, and working directly with OET’s working groups and projects that contribute to shaping the future of clean energy.
