In Season Five, BU alumni and scholars share their experiences studying and disrupting order in their own projects, from the role of beauty in programming to the disruption of religious norms by twentieth-century artists.<\/span><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>In <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/humanities\/media\/podcast\/season-five-the-order-of-things\/\">Episode One<\/a><\/strong>, Managing Director <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/humanities\/profiles\/kurt-cavender\/\">Kurt Cavender<\/a><\/strong> sits down with data architect and BU alumnus Glenn Street. Season Three features <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/humanities\/podcast\/season-three\/\">conversations<\/a><\/strong> with an undergraduate student and a faculty member, who reflect on their personal odysseys in community service, academia, and education, writ large. Season Two features <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/humanities\/podcast\/season-two\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">three conversations<\/a><\/strong> with authors who have written books relating personal stories of migrating from the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Asia, on their way to becoming Americans.<\/p>\n<p>In Episode One, <strong>Junot Diaz<\/strong>\u00a0interviews <strong>Dan-el Padilla Peralta<\/strong>\u00a0about his memoir, <em><strong>Undocumented: A Dominican Boy&#8217;s Odyssey from a Homeless Shelter to the Ivy League<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In Episode Two, <strong>Claire Messud<\/strong> interviews <strong>Roya Hakakian<\/strong> about her book, <strong><em>A Beginner\u2019s Guide to America: For the Immigrant and the Curious<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Episode Three, <strong>Sianne Ngai<\/strong>, the Andrew W.
