{"id":16266,"date":"2021-07-20T15:56:27","date_gmt":"2021-07-20T19:56:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hr\/?page_id=16266"},"modified":"2023-06-02T14:14:49","modified_gmt":"2023-06-02T18:14:49","slug":"eligibility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hr\/lifebu\/flexible-work\/eligibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Eligibility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Staff members who meet the following job performance criteria are eligible to flexible work arrangements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No active corrective action; examples include no performance improvement plan, and an overall performance rating of 3 (successful) or above on the most recent performance evaluation, if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with all University health and safety policies and protocols (i.e., proof of any applicable vaccination or booster requirements), if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>New staff members who have not yet received a performance evaluation may request flexible work arrangements.\u00a0However, it is strongly recommended that any hybrid work arrangements for newly hired employees commence after a minimum of 90 workdays of employment has been completed and an initial performance discussion has been held.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The guidelines apply to regular US-based non represented staff. The guidelines do not apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>faculty;<\/li>\n<li>staff who are members of a bargaining unit (unless otherwise agreed between the applicable union and the University);<\/li>\n<li>temporary employees;<\/li>\n<li>student employees;<\/li>\n<li>staff who work outside the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff members who meet the following job performance criteria are eligible to flexible work arrangements: No active corrective action; examples include no performance improvement plan, and an overall performance rating of 3 (successful) or above on the most recent performance evaluation, if applicable.
