Job families are then further refined by the subfamily. For example: the Academic and Student Services job family is further subdivided into subfamilies that include Admissions, Career Services &amp; Placement, Student Engagement, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Within the job framework there are 20 job families and over 125 subfamilies that apply to non-represented staff positions at the University. The job family, subfamily, and career level combine to determine the job assigned to the position.
