Bluebikes Bike Share Discounted Membership

BU faculty, staff, and students can now enjoy Bluebikes memberships at the discounted annual rate of $60.00!

What is Bluebikes? 

Bluebikes is Metro Boston’s bike share system. With more than 3,000 bikes and 300 stations across Arlington, Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Newton, Revere, Somerville, and Watertown. Bluebikes provides you with a convenient, economical, and environmentally friendly transportation option to help you get to work, home, and many locations in between. An annual membership is only $60.00 (compared to $109) for BU community members.

There are several convenient Bluebikes stations on BU’s Charles River and Medical Campuses. Visit the Bluebikes website to see them all and use the mobile app to get real time data on bike and dock locations. Real-time Bluebikes data can also be found on BU’s exclusive Terrier Transit app.
