A successful quit attempt starts with the right support. The following tools and resources are available from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts to help you and your family commit to a quit plan and stick with it.
Breathe Easy: Tobacco Cessation Workshop
This interactive online program is available on the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts ahealthyme secure website. Over a 5 week period, individuals develop a personalized quit plan and are provided tools and daily motivation, including articles, videos, tracking tools, and more. Here’s what is covered:
Week 1: Getting started with tobacco cessation
Week 2: Understanding your tobacco habit
Week 3: Preparing to quit
Week 4: Putting your quit plan into action
Week 5: Overcoming urges and sticking with your plan
The workshop is designed to be flexible—individuals can complete tasks all at once, or over the course of several weeks. Reminder emails help participants monitor their progress towards their goals.
