If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email us at <a href=\"mailto:gradhous@bu.edu\">gradhous@bu.edu<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p>To apply for the MSR, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have recently been accepted into Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine.<\/li>\n<li>Be eligible for promotion into Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Application Process<\/h3>\n<p>To complete the application, you will need to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Submit a $500 Housing Guarantee Payment using a credit card or a US bank account.<\/li>\n<li>Complete all sections of the application on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/mygradhousing\">Graduate Housing Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Electronically sign the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/graduate-housing\/graduate-residence-license-agreement\/\">Graduate Residence License Agreement<\/a>. The Graduate Residence License Agreement is binding through July 15, 2027.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Optional Step:<\/em><\/span> Search for roommates among other MSR applicants. Our office will try its best to assign roommate requests together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Our Office will make MSR assignments and release them later in the summer.<\/p>\n<p>For guidance, you can view a New MSR Student Application Walkthrough <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/graduate-housing\/application-tutorials\/new-msr\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Important Information<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>New medical students who make a deposit by the provided deadline are guaranteed a space in MSR.<\/li>\n<li>Students who apply after the provided deadline will be offered a bed on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/li>\n<li>Students who do not matriculate to Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine and withdraw their application by the provided deadline may request a refund of the Housing Guarantee Payment. A refund is not guaranteed for students who withdraw after this deadline.<\/li>\n<li>Pathway students who do not matriculate will be granted a refund of the Housing Guarantee Payment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Policies<em> (For MSR Residents Only)<\/em><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Any request for the termination of the Graduate Residence License Agreement must be submitted in writing to <a href=\"mailto:gradhous@bu.edu\">BU Housing<\/a> at least thirty (30) days in advance of the requested termination date.<\/li>\n<li>Licenses may only be terminated on the last day the month.<\/li>\n<li>BU Housing will notify Licensee in writing if such request is granted, which decision shall be made in BU Housing\u2019s sole discretion.<\/li>\n<li>If this premature License termination results in a loss to the University, the total fee obligations to the University will not exceed two months fees.<\/li>\n<li>Failure to vacate the premises on the agreed-upon date will result in an additional $100.00 charge for every day the Licensee remains in residence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The MSR Graduate Housing Application is now operating on a waitlist.
