If you are an entering student for the fall semester, you will receive notification in the spring about completing the application.<\/p>\n<p>In the New Student Housing Application you can complete your:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Residence License Agreement: Students (and their parents or legal guardians, if they are under 18 years of age) will electronically sign the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/assignments\/abroad\/samplerlas\/\">Residence License Agreement<\/a> and review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/assignments\/abroad\/agreement\/\">Terms and Conditions of the Residence License Agreement<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Housing Preference Questions: The responses provided on the New Student Housing Application will be considered when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/assignments\/new-student\/\">making room assignments<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New freshmen can see a preview of the housing application <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/assignments\/application-tutorials\/new-student-housing-application-walkthrough\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>New transfer students can see a preview of the housing application <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/assignments\/application-tutorials\/transfer-student-application-walk-through\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Continuing Students<\/h3>\n<p>After their first year in residence, undergraduate students reserve on-campus housing using the <a href=\"http:\/\/bu.edu\/myhousing\">Continuing Student Housing Application<\/a>. In this application, students will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>electronically sign a Residence License Agreement.<\/li>\n<li>submit a $600 Housing Guarantee Payment using a credit card or a US bank account.<\/li>\n<li>search for, and connect with, potential roommates.<\/li>\n<li>select a room for the following academic year (this is available during Room Selection in the spring semester).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Student Housing Application Freshmen and transfer students are required to complete the online New Student Housing Application\u00a0to be assigned to a campus residence.
