The Lawrence Apartments, which operated as a rooming house for many years, were built in the Georgian Revival style in 1905 by Samuel D. Kelley. You can see other BU residences designed by Kelley along nearby Beacon Street at 822, 832, 845, 850, 853, 856, 906, and 908.

On the north side of Beacon Street, the building lies within South Campus, a tranquil, private neighborhood that features a mix of families, young professionals, and BU neighbors. Central campus is right over the BU Bridge, while a short walk across Beacon Street puts you in the Fenway area. Nearby, you’ll find groceries, restaurants, shops, and more. South sits between the B- and C-lines, giving you great access to the rest of Boston.

Off-campus feel, on-campus convenience: South Campus has it all!
