For almost three decades, Marc Bruno has been a leader at Aramark, joining the company in 1993 while still a student at Cornell University, and then taking on roles of increasing responsibility, leading to his current role as Chief Operating Officer <\/span><\/span>for U.S. Food and Facilities for <\/span><\/span>the $17B Aramark Corporation<\/span><\/span>. In his current position, he sets the standard for the company\u2019s hospitality culture and works with his colleagues to drive growth in the eight businesses he oversees. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Bruno\u2019s tenure at Aramark took him from his university campus kitchen to a variety of sales and operating roles in the U.S. and internationally. Over the course of his career, he has successfully demonstrated Aramark\u2019s commitment to service excellence and has continued to play a vital role in earning new business.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Among his most impressive accomplishments is serving as the leader of Aramark\u2019s Olympic projects, for which the company has served as the dining and catering services provider for 16 Olympic Games. His involvement with the project spans six Olympic Games, dating back to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2009-2013, Mr. Bruno served as president of Aramark\u2019s Sports & Entertainment division and was named COO in 2014. In 2010, Sports Business Journal named him to its annual global list of \u201cForty Under 40,\u201d recognizing the best and brightest young executives in the sports business industry.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Bruno serves on the board of directors of United Rentals and Special Olympics of Pennsylvania and is Vice Chair of the Board for Alex\u2019s Lemonade Stand Foundation.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, Mr. Bruno earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 2001.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
