Yunmei Bai

Yunmei (Mabel) Bai, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Revenue Management at Boston University School of Hospitality Administration (SHA). She earned her Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University. She also holds a master’s degree in Applied Statistics from Purdue University and another master’s degree in Hospitality Business Management from University of Delaware.
Mabel’s working experience includes both lodging operation and strategic data analytics. She joined Marriott International as a management trainee and then worked as a revenue analyst in the regional revenue cluster of China. Her research focuses on Revenue Management and Consumer Behavior. More specifically, her work emphasizes developing better pricing strategies across different market segments in the hospitality industry.
