Svitlana Krasynska

MIT-Ukraine Program Manager, Harvard University Research Associate

Svitlana Krasynska is currently developing and managing the newly launched MIT-Ukraine program, implementing the vision of capitalizing on MIT’s world-class technical expertise, internal resources, and external reputation to assist in the preservation and reconstruction of war-devastated Ukraine. In addition, Svitlana is conducting research as an Associate at the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard. This advocacy work and scholarship is an outgrowth of Svitlana’s longstanding professional service and activism to support her home country of Ukraine.

Svitlana attained her doctorate degree in Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego. Her academic training is complemented by over two decades of diverse professional and leadership experience, including executive management and consulting in the public and nonprofit sectors, leadership on nonprofit boards and university committees, applied and scholarly research at academic research centers, and working in the international business and legal fields. Svitlana has taught Leadership courses to undergraduate and graduate students at Boston University School of Hospitality Administration.
