The Dana Waud Floberg Fund

About The Dana Waud Floberg Fund

Established in June 2018, the Dana Waud Floberg Fund provides current-use support for SHA students to attend industry conferences, both in the United States and abroad. The Dana Waud Floberg Endowed Fund, established at the same time, will ensure the continuation of this generous support in perpetuity.

By covering the cost of travel, registration fees, and other conference expenses for deserving students in need, the funds enable these talented young people to gain global perspectives on the hospitality industry. The experiences and networking opportunities that are available only at conferences provide an essential real-world learning tool for students of hospitality administration.

Since its establishment, students have been able to attend the Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference & Operations Summit (CHICOS) in 2018 and 2019.
