Parker<\/strong>, Professor of English at Amherst College delivered the Second Annual Sedgwick Lecture on October 27, 2010. Professor Parker was one of Professor Sedgwick\u2019s important collaborators and interlocutors, having co-edited with her <em>Performativity and Performance <\/em>(Routledge 1995).<\/p>\n<p>He is also co-editor with Janet Halley of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dukeupress.edu\/Catalog\/ViewProduct.php?productid=47196&amp;viewby=author&amp;lastname=Parker&amp;firstname=Andrew&amp;middlename=&amp;sort=newest\"><em>After Sex? On Writing Since Queer Theory<\/em><\/a> (Duke University Press, 2011). His book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dukeupress.edu\/Catalog\/ViewProduct.php?productid=48915\"><em>The Theorist\u2019s Mother: Maternities from Marx to Derrida <\/em><\/a>appeared soon after the lecture from Duke University Press.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andrew C.
