Rachel Monsey Wins the David Underdown Prize for Best Paper Delivered by a Graduate Student
Ph.D. candidate Rachel Monsey won the David Underdown Prize of the Northeast Conference on British Studies at the NECBS annual conference in September 2024. Her paper, entitled “‘With Souls divided betwixt Joy and Grief’: The Death of Charles II and Addresses of Congratulations and Condolence to James VII/II,” received the prize, recognizing the best paper delivered by a graduate student.
