He received his PhD \u00a0in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n<p>Castrillon&#8217;s research <span>interests span across\u00a0<\/span><span>Computational Applied Mathematics (CAM), Computational Statistics (CS), Uncertainty Quantification (UQ), high dimensional stochastic Partial Differential Equations (sPDE) and Machine Learning (ML).
