{"id":36844,"date":"2025-05-01T10:56:06","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T14:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=36844"},"modified":"2025-09-12T12:12:23","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T16:12:23","slug":"zachary-loschinskey","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/profile\/zachary-loschinskey\/","title":{"rendered":"Zachary Loschinskey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/photonics\/profile\/zachary-loschinskey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zachary Loschinskey<\/a> is a second year PhD candidate in the Biomedical Engineering Department advised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/eng\/profile\/michael-economo-ph-d\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Economo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hic\/profile\/brian-depasquale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brian DePasquale<\/a>. He grew up outside of Memphis, TN and completed his BS in Biomedical Engineering-Bioinformatics at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Before coming to BU, he studied artificial minichromosomes with Dr. James Birchler and the long-term effects of radiation therapies on sleep electrophysiology with Dr. Ranganatha Sitaram.<\/p>\n<p>Zach currently studies multiregion brain communication and hierarchical motor control using mathematical modeling.
